If you own a brick and mortar business these tips will enable you to know how targeted your visitors are. This information can help you to know how much web optimization is needed.

Pick ten specific products or services from within your business.

Do a Google search for those services. Be sure to include the name of the city your business resides in. For example:

Thai Massage Tulsa

Ford Mustang Convertible Rental Ontario Airport

Concrete Countertops Atlanta

Count all of the places that mention your business on that search page for each search.

Once you do this, are your services listed in the order you would prefer?

Desirable results for a search like this would render at minimum a few mentions of their business. Generally these results include information on how to make contact or locate the business seamlessly. In some cases, businesses will have mentions in the form of reviews, yellow page listings and local announcements of some type. It is also typical, unfortunately, to find gossip, slander or just a few bad reviews on your business.

Most people, however, will find that their business is not mentioned once within any of the searches listed above. If you want to understand the full scope of what these searches can mean for your business then contact Interloop Media today for a consultation.

Do you often find yourself searching through multiple Google pages trying to find that local website? Most business websites are not optimized for the city that they are in. Often times the only time that the city is mentioned in the entire website is on the contact us section with the address.

Ever wonder how a mediocre restaurant that just opened a year ago is closer to the top of Google than that restaurant, which serves the best food in town and has been there for 10 years? As much as we may want it to, Google does not necessarily put businesses in the order of the best to the worst. The problem with Google is that you cannot do a search for a restaurant and find out if it’s really any good. One major flaw in search engines is that you don’t get top results just because your business is good; you get them because you know how to play the game. Businesses who know how to work Google, and other search engines, and take advantage of that knowledge are going to be the ones that thrive on the Internet.

If you feel like your website falls into the category of not being found locally then contact us through the website today.

Want to make it on Forbes.com, the AP, or your local/national news websites? Professionally written and submitted press releases are the answer for you!

When you see the words “Press Release”, it normally sings a traditional tune, however, as stated, Interloop Media focuses on mixing the traditional and non-traditional. Our press releases will never be created for only one channel of marketing, but they will always be submitted to all mediums. We even have press releases that have an accompanying video attached to make you stand out that much more! As news outlets are hungry for content, we will propel your company to the forefront of their submissions.

Internet press releases will not only notify the public of what is happening at your organization, they will also give search engines more information to index. Keep in mind that search engines rank your website based on how many outside sites link to you. Our press releases will contain more credible links, which combined with your outside PR will give your organization overwhelming exposure on and off the Internet. Press releases will always be submitted to credible news sources and are guaranteed to be picked up. Contact us for pricing for our press release packages.

The press releases we offer are as follows:

General Press Release: A general press release is what most people think of when they think of press releases. This is ideal for any time your company has news that needs to be circulated to members of the media and public in hopes of receiving media coverage and exposure. A general press release might be used any time your company ran a contest, won an award or had any other general news about the company, organization or website.

Launch Releases: A launch press release is similar in format to a general press release, but differs by having a more specific function. Launch press releases would be considered for your company when you have news or information that requires extra urgency or timeliness in order to create a buzz around your company’s product, website or general organization. A launch press release would be ideal for a launching of your company, website, or initiative.

Product Press Releases: A product press release is used when your company needs to include specifics for the product. Product press releases can overlap with launch releases when a new product is launched, and can also be used if products win awards, reach sales milestones, have to be recalled for some reason, have an upgraded version released, and can be used with any other product-focused news. Product press releases will often benefit from including photos.

Executive / Staff Announcements: This is a press release that would be used if there is a staff change especially if it is in higher levels of management. This can include information found in a general press release in addition to biographical information to justify the change. These typically include at least one photo.

Expert Positioning Press Releases: These are typically the least urgent of all the forms of press releases. These are used to express someone’s expertise in a certain subject matter, to reflect them as a go-to source for information in the future.

Event Press Releases: Event press releases will clearly lay out the who, what, when, where, and why often in a list or outline rather than a paragraph form. Event press releases are issued in hopes that the media will use the information to announce the event details to the public rather than to actually convince the media to attend the event.

These are the six types of press releases that we offer. We would be happy to mix and match as your circumstances require. Please contact us for an evaluation of your press release needs.
